Daewoo Nexia, A15MF 1.5L DOHC engine (16 valves) – a sedan (make N100)

In 2003 Daewoo Nexia got new appearance and updated engine. To boost its power to 66 kilowatt (85 hp) the valve control was made twin-shaft (DOHC), whereas the number of valves per cylinder was increased up to four. In 2008 UzDaewoo carried out restyling for Nexia that changed its outside and inside design as well as the engine. In particular, front and rear bumpers, optics, and interior were modified. Since G15MF and A15MF engines of Daewoo Nexia did not meet the Euro-3 requirements, they were replaced by more advanced 86 hp A15SMS engine from Chevrolet Lanos, and 109 hp F16D3 engine from Chevrolet Lacetti. Besides, to enhance security for the driver and passengers, side-door impact beams were added.
